Victor Vasarely sculpture, "Gestalt-RJ" 1981.   Hungarian born Vasarely, 1908-1997,  a master of Op-Art created new concepts in sculpture.  Purchased in 1982 at the Vasarely Center in New York, this three dimensional sculpture was produced in a limited edition.  Originally signed in pencil, since faded, #19 from an addition of 100, with accompanying Vasarely Center Certificate.  Sculpture has been authenticated by Michele Vasarely.  Original receipt and certificate of authenticity included.  Colors bright, some areas of paint loss.

Sam Provenzano, 1923-1999, oil on canvas titled "Conquete".  A student and protege of Hans Hoffman between 1947 and 1949, Provenzano also studied at the Academy of Fine arts in Florence, Italy.   Described as abstract figurative,  his paintings have components of recognizable objects combined with abstraction.  Sam Provenzanos' works can be found in the collections of SFMOMA as well as the UC Berkeley art collection and other collections worldwide.

An exceptional textile wall hanging by Kansas City artist Blanche Carstenson, 1907 - 2002.

Blanche Emily Williams Carstenson was an artist and longtime resident of Kansas City, Missouri. She was born in Gray County, Kansas, in 1907 and married Cecil C. Carstenson in 1927.   She worked with paint, printmaking, collage, assemblage and especially fiber. She was best known for her wall hangings, which she exhibited throughout the Midwest, including UMKC, B'nai Jehudah, Unitarian Gallery and Kansas City Artist's Coalition. She helped found the Mid-America Annual Exhibition at the Nelson Art Museum and served as Director for eight years. She founded the Unitarian Gallery in the early 1960s, and was a guiding force in the Kansas City Artist's Coalition.   She managed the career of her husband, Cecil, a noted sculptor. 

Blanche Carstenson passed away October 2, 2002 in Denver, Colorado.

"Paulina Jones Everitt, 1905-1996, was a passionate and prolific painter and sculptor since her early youth in Kansas. A graduate from Missouri University, she attended Kansas City Art Institute and Washington University of Fine Arts. She studied with Thomas Hart Benton,  her regionalist watercolors and drawings reflect that connection.   Paulina began her career by painting and sketching and taught art in the Kansas public school system in Independence for two years."
